Owner Shane Bloomfield has over 28 years experience in the industry and a passion for fine quality timber design. Shane and his team have expert knowledge and skills in working with clients from consultation to design and implementation.

Bill & Ben the Cabinet Men are the place to go when you need a fabulous new kitchen. When you visit our Showroom in Garbutt you will be able to see the latest in terms of new materials, surfaces, colours, drawer hardware, automatic open and close, and a range of new kitchens ranging from simple to the most elegant.
With our focus on complete kitchen renovation, you get amazing service from our team. This includes kitchen design done at it’s best. Shane Bloomfield’s 30 years of designing and building ensures that you get the best kitchen design possible. We like to use the term “dream kitchen”.
Once your kitchen design is created, you get to see inside a 3-D Video Preview. This means you get to see your kitchen BEFORE it is built. You can thoroughly check it out, make sure it is what your dream kitchen looks like – and that it works perfectly for your home and family. Any little changes you want – done without fuss.

The Children’s Cancer Institute, runs the Townsville to Cairns bike ride, focusing on raising funds just for kids cancer treatment and cure research. On top of that, they have become famous for the speed in which they apply their research to help the kids who need it NOW! Bill & Ben The Cabinet Men learnt about the ride in 2017. We know what a fantasic idea this is and for such a fantastic cause, so we have participated every year since. With all proceeds going to The Children’s Cancer Institute – Townsville to Cairns Bike Ride, we also organise fundraising raffles throughout the year with tickets available from our showroom at 9 Greg Jabs Drive, Garbutt.

Bill & Ben the Cabinetmen is looking for their next apprentice cabinetmaker. If you are looking for a rewarding career and would like to learn the skills of cabinetmaking, this position may be for you. This is a full time position starting in the New Year at our factory/workshop in Garbutt (Townsville). Our successful applicant would need to have good math skills and be willing to work hard. This position will suit both school leavers and mature age and a manual drivers licence would be preferred.
